After a long trip I´m back home in Halmstad- Sweden...here it´s snow still but it´s getting better very soon. The weather is fantastic and the damn snow is melting away, spring is on!! :-)
Everybody says that this season in Cape Town was the worst ever, I can agree in some points but for me it was one of the best. Two weeks of Jan was not so good, but the nice thing is that the days that we scored we had nice waves. Normaly when the southeastern Cape Doctor is pumping full on the whole Jan it use to be way smaller waves, so on one hand it has been better with proper waves when it´s wind.
I´m even happy that I can sail properly after a whole season of injury, one month in Western OZ and two months in Cape Town. Really happy as well that I improved my sailling as well, both in riding and jumping. Got that damn tweaked pushloop nice in the end.
The last weeks we scored good conditions and had some of my best sessions ever down there, Cape Point- Platboom delievered two mornings in a row....sick!! We sailed 4,2 and had nice sets...from logo up to mast ++
I will update with some random pics from the really nice days in Cape Town...some people think that SA is just a jumpingspot...these people does´nt know much ;-)
The pics from that clean wave is from Paternoster. Sick day!!!
Thanks to Ben Van Der Steen and Jamie Hancock for the waterpics
