Welcome

Hi... You have reached Andreas Olandersson, I can't take your call at the moment because I am probably out surfing... Have a look around here until we meet again.

jumpingsession Sunset Beach

 backloop
After some days with scetchy wind directions and strange weather everything changed to normal again. The normal southeast kicked in I was ampd for some nice conditions.
I spoke with my friend Andrea from Italy about taking fotos in the morning, we met at the parking in Sunset and saw that the conditions were good enough to shoot.
I was rigging my Icon 4,2 and took my smaller board, the 79 Fanatic Twin.
We had a really nice day and had some good jumps.
I was a bit disapointed with this season, there was´nt much jumps at all...but on the other hand there was big waves and nice for riding.
When we arrived the first week I started to do the tweaked pushloops again, did´nt try it after my kneeinjury so it was time to train. Perfect conditions for trying some!
I land them often now but don´t have that max tweak....so I have to push it harder....but atleast...it´s on! I´m happy!!
We sailed a long session and concentration was gettin less...so time for lunch. Went home to our house and made some spaghetti carbonara for me and the kids ;-)
Loaded with energy I entered Big Bay, there was "hellwind"!! I rigged the same equipment like before even though I knew there were guys out at 3,5´s, full downhaul and maxed out....have never rigged my Icons like that. Think I had 6 cm of outhaul, completely flat! But the sail was just working amazing!....people around everywhere complained how overpowered they were, I just found my rig working perfect! Full power but also full control....sick sails!!
In the evening we had a nice dinner at Primi Piatti with the whole Danish crew.
Nice day in Cape Town!

Thanks to Adele Frola for your fotos!
